Important COVID-19 Information

Dear Patients and Friends,
I hope you are doing well. For your health and safety, we have implemented several changes in the office.
Vaccinations- All of our staff has received their first Covid vaccination shot and will complete the second one by Feb.20th. Our arms were sore for about 1-2 days- no other problems.
Virtual Consultation- After your first evaluation in the office, we are available for virtual consultation to review your proposed treatment. Many of your questions can be answered by email or telephone to limit your exposure outside of your home.
Appointments- We are allowing additional time for each appointment in our office to eliminate your interaction with any other patients. Also, this extra time allows for a deep cleaning of each room after your visit.
Entering the office- We are on the second floor and if you do not wish to take an elevator please notify us and we can open the stairwell doors for you to enter. The elevator is very private. Just call if you want to take the stairs.
Our Staff- all of our staff is wearing personal protective equipment: mask, face shield, gloves and disposable gowns.
Suction systems- We are now using an special suction system with HEPA filtration in each operatory to quickly remove aerosols- if you can come up with a good name of it, let us know!
Air Cleaners- Each operatory has medical grade HEPA air cleaner to help reduce contaminants
HVAC- a special Air Ionizer has been installed on our air handler system to help reduce contaminants that may be circulating in the air
Pre-rinse your mouth before we see your smile- all patients are asked to rinse prior to their dental procedure.
The rinse contains molecular iodine which may help in reducing the spread of Covid-19.
